25. Spherometers :
It consists of a brass
disc 40mm in diameter and its circumference has 100 divisions. 0.5 mm or 1mm pitch.
The vertical scale, with a range of 20mm, indicate the numbers of turns
of the screw. The disc and scales are either brass lacquered or chrome
plated, screw and legs are made of steel black painted.
