ZES 131. Demonstration Meter : A demonstration meter and may be converted to an a.c. or d.c. Voltmeter or ammeter with selection of ranges for each mode of operation by using one of a series of interchangeable dials which fit through a slot in the side of the case. The movement, comprising a high grade moving coil galvanometer, is housed within a robust, hardwood case and all the working parts are clearly visible through the front and rear glass panels. ZES 137. Ballistic Galvanometer : For measurement of small quantities of electrical charge. Reflecting mirror type model. The moving coil is suspended by a phosphor bronze strip, which carries an optically true concave mirror. The coil can be raised or lowered or set to zero by an adjusting knurled knob at the top. A knob at the back is provided for clamping and releasing the coil. A link high resistance is provided to make the galvanometer periodic, if desired, levelling screws are provided for balancing the coil. |
